In September of 2005, Cheryl Heggemann and her son Taylor Tidwell teamed up to open a full service coffehouse and espresso bar on Main St. in downtown Washington, Missouri. MannWell's, named for it's original owners and creators, offers a dynamic atmosphere that still manages to feel like home; and this is exactly what we want! Every employee and every customer here should feel like a member of our family. We are praised for and take pride in delivering the finest available coffees, foods, and goods in our community. We strive to serve as many organic, homemade, and natural foods and beverages as possible. We are proud to brew local Kaldi's coffee, which you can feel good about buying since it is both organic and fair trade. Coffeehouses are traditionally places to relax and come together to celebrate the community. In this tradition, our walls are decorated by a local artist each month, showcasing photography, paintings, and other pieces. In addition, local musicians also play for entertainment. Besides our distinctive coffees and teas, our menu includes a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, quiches, salads, local wines, beers, spirits, and smoothies. "Come Gather in the Alley!"
